GENERAL INFORMATION:
Pseudomugil furcatus are a peacefull and active fish that do well in groups and with other small, peacefully fish. I have kept them with Dwarf Cichlids(Rams, Apistos) also without issues. they appreciate planted tanks where they can swim in and out of stems. These fish will generally stay near the surface, so floating plants are also appreciated. Males have the most color and longer fins. females are slightly more dull. The blue eyes seem to glow in most lighting!

BREEDING:
Pseudomugil furcatus are Egg scatteres. If you have male and female fish, and a healthy tank, spawning is likely. They will deposit eggs in masses of plants which are fertilized by the male.

NOTES:
This fish has been a fun, active fish to own, but due to the extremely short lifespan, I have traded them to other hobbyists. I felt I was constantly breeding to new colonies just to keep a certain number in my show tank.
